Startup & Enterprise Experience
Aaron brings experience working across both early-stage startups and large enterprise environments. He has partnered with fast-moving startups in the Raleigh-Durham area, including TRAKID and Oma Health, helping teams move from early concepts to stable, production-ready platforms. In parallel, he has contributed to enterprise-scale systems, including coding projects for Microsoft while employed through AURP, where quality, reliability, and alignment with established engineering standards were critical. This combination allows Aaron to bridge speed and experimentation with the discipline required to build and maintain long-lived software systems.
Client & Founder Work - Artificial Pixel
Through Artificial Pixel, Aaron has partnered with organizations across healthcare and professional services to design and deliver production-grade software solutions. He worked closely with etectRx, a digital health company, where he designed and built the original proof of concept for a medical IoT platform and subsequently led its evolution into an enterprise-grade, production system. This work included architecting a secure, cloud-based REST API to support real-time health monitoring and data analytics, with a strong emphasis on scalability, reliability, and secure handling of sensitive health data.
The etectRx platform was implemented using ASP.NET Core and Microsoft Azure services, enabling reliable communication between connected devices and cloud infrastructure while supporting long-term growth and operational demands typical of regulated healthcare environments.
Aaron has also collaborated with Langino Law, a North Carolina-based personal injury and wrongful death law firm, on a comprehensive website redesign and SEO optimization initiative. This engagement focused on improving site performance, accessibility, and search visibility through a modern frontend architecture, responsive design, analytics integration, and ongoing performance enhancements to support client outreach and business growth.
Professional Roles & Experience
In addition to his work at Artificial Pixel, Aaron has held roles as a Cloud Solutions Architect and Senior Software Developer, contributing to a wide range of production systems and internal platforms. His professional experience includes working on coding projects for Microsoft while employed through AURP, where he supported software initiatives requiring high standards of reliability, maintainability, and alignment with Microsoft development practices.
Across these roles, Aaron has focused on backend and cloud development, building and maintaining applications using C#, .NET, and Azure services. His work has involved collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing production-quality code, and supporting systems that operate at enterprise scale.
Aaron's background uniquely blends creative technology-beginning in 3D art, interactive media, and immersive experiences-with modern software engineering. This combination allows him to approach complex technical challenges with both architectural rigor and a strong user-centered perspective.
Certifications & Professional Focus
Aaron holds multiple Microsoft certifications, including Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Fundamentals, and Azure Developer Associate. Across all his work, he is driven by a commitment to thoughtful system design, pragmatic problem-solving, and building software that delivers long-term value for both users and organizations.
